Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is vital in ensuring smooth food preparation and service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and teamwork, with previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings preferred.

Required to have a valid Food Handler Certification.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning Help with food handling and storage to ensure safety and compliance with health standards Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas as needed Assist in serving food and beverages to guests in hospitality environments Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed throughout all kitchen activities Stock supplies and ingredients to ensure availability during service hours Support other kitchen staff with miscellaneous tasks to facilitate smooth operations

Requirements

Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards Ability to handle food safely and responsibly with proper food handling techniques Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Previous experience with hospitality services such as serving or hotel operations is a plus Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
