We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient food preparation process. Duties
Assist in food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Help with stocking supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
Support cooks during meal service by preparing garnishes and assisting with plating as required.
Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts, ensuring that all surfaces are sanitized and ready for the next day's operations.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment focused on quality service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Knowledge of basic food handling practices is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
