We are seeking dedicated Helper to join our team. As a Helper, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent support in kitchen, operating equipment like dishwasher, bussing the table and clean up.
Shift Days : Mon to Fri
Shift Hours: 3 to 4 hours per day (additional hours as needed)
Duties
Food Preparation:
-Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
-Preparing garnishes or simple side dishes.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
-Keeping the kitchen area organized and free of clutter.
-Cleaning kitchen tools and utensils after use.
-Ensuring proper food storage and labeling.
Assisting Chef:
-Helping to prepare ingredients for dishes and meals.
-Assisting with plating and organizing food for service.
-Delivering supplies, like spices, herbs, or utensils, to the cooking station.
Supporting Dishwashing:
-Helping with the washing and organizing of dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
Adhering to Safety and Sanitation Guidelines:
-Following food safety and sanitation standards to avoid contamination.
-Ensuring that all work areas remain hygienic and safe.
Qualifications
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests in a friendly manner
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures- Basic math skills, Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
Food Safe Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.40-$18.00 per hour
