We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, hospitality, and culinary operations. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision Bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain cleanliness in dining areas Support catering and banquet setups, ensuring all food service areas are well-organized and stocked Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils through regular cleaning routines Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures in accordance with health standards Support the culinary team with serving food during meal times or special events Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock needs Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen safety practices is a plus Experience with bussing, cleaning, or supporting banquet events is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
