Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the cooking staff to ensure smooth operations. This role is essential for delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our hospitality establishment.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help cooks during meal service by providing necessary ingredients and equipment. Ensure all food handling procedures are followed according to health and safety regulations. Support the kitchen team in maintaining inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies. Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to ensure a hygienic work environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and exceptional service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen equipment is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills. A passion for food service and commitment to providing excellent customer experiences.
