Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support the overall efficiency of our food service. Duties

Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients as directed by chefs or cooks. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment. Help with cooking tasks as needed, including grilling, frying, or baking under supervision. Support serving staff during meal service by preparing plates and assisting with food delivery. Keep the kitchen organized and stocked with necessary supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in maintaining overall kitchen hygiene standards by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role. A passion for hospitality and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
