We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service. Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Clean work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold a sanitary environment. Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing tasks as directed by the head cook or chef. Assist in inventory management by helping to receive and store food supplies properly.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards work. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service.
