We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall operations of our food service environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while providing high-quality service to our guests.
Duties
Assist cooks and chefs in preparing ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
Support the cooking staff by delivering ingredients and supplies as needed during meal preparation.
Clean work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety standards is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
