We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient environment while supporting food preparation and service. Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients as directed by chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Support the cooking staff by ensuring all necessary ingredients are readily available for meal preparation.
Follow food safety guidelines for handling and storing food products.
Assist with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Participate in inventory management by helping to stock supplies and report shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is beneficial.
