Duties

Assist in food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Support cooks and chefs by providing necessary ingredients and supplies during meal preparation. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in cleaning tasks after meal service, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for the next shift. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn from experienced culinary professionals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
