Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment while supporting food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or cooks, ensuring food is prepared according to safety standards. Support serving staff during meal service by preparing plates and assisting with food presentation. Follow food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by helping to stock supplies and report shortages.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus. Experience in food service or hospitality environments will be advantageous. A strong understanding of cleaning protocols and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
