Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and ready for cooking. Follow recipes and cooking instructions to prepare meals efficiently and consistently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Maintain and clean kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
