Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Food Preparation Worker to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in kitchen, the food service process, ensuring that all ingredients are prepared and organized for cooking. This position is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and efficiency required in our hospitality setting, whether it be in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and chop ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and herbs according to recipes and specifications. Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation tasks to ensure timely meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Clean kitchen equipment and utensils after use to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is an asset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others within the team are essential for success in this role. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
