Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper food handling practices at all times. Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance with serving or other tasks as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques, is advantageous. Knowledge of food service standards and best practices in food handling is beneficial. A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment. Excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained. Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
