Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, ensuring that all dishes are cleaned promptly and that the dining area is well-prepared for guests.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist in bussing tables by clearing away used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after guests finish their meals. Help with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dishwashing station and dining room. Support kitchen staff in various capacities during peak hours to ensure smooth operations. Follow health and safety guidelines regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns as required, ensuring all catering needs are met efficiently.

Skills

Experience in bussing and cleaning within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills are beneficial. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to manage large events effectively. Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organization tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment. Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met. Previous experience in restaurants, kitchens, hotels, or culinary settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
