As a

Busboy

Jabal Coffee House

, you play a vital support role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient cafe environment. You'll be responsible for clearing tables, assisting with dishwashing, resetting seating areas, and helping the front-of-house team deliver a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.

Duties

Promptly clear and clean tables after guests leave Reset tables with clean dishes, utensils, and condiments Wipe down surfaces and ensure the dining area is tidy at all times Assist baristas and servers by delivering water, refilling items, or running small errands Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly Sweep or mop floors in the dining and service areas as needed Help in the dishwashing area during peak hours Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards Maintain a friendly and professional attitude toward guests and team members Report any broken equipment or safety concerns to the manager

Experience

Prior experience as a busser or in a customer-facing role (preferred but not required) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Good communication and teamwork skills Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
