We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are properly stored after cleaning.
Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
Skills
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
Knowledge of food service operations and food handling regulations.
Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing time effectively.
