We are excited to be recruiting for a full-time Dishwasher at SMITH Restaurant, which is located in our amazing property, Inn at Forks. Shifts will be days, evenings and weekends, so open availability is required!

Inn at the Forks is a sleek and stylish hotel set in The Forks historic site with guest rooms that feature a modern design, and some suites have waterfront views. SMITH is a contemporary restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients, and Riverstone Spa is a full-service spa, both located within the hotel.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with health regulations. Participate in cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen tasks as needed.
