Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team for week night evenings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all service ware is clean and ready for use. Bus tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards. Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, current shifts would be Monday-Friday evenings.
