Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for use by cooks and chefs. Properly handle and store all food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service times. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a collaborative team setting are essential. Must have 3 years of experience in dishwashing.

Pay: $17.20-$24.94 per hour
