We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.

Duties

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods. Maintain a clean and organized work area by regularly emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste. Help with the stocking of kitchen supplies and ingredients as required. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of all food products. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Skills

Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff. Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus. Willingness to help in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing when needed.
