We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils used in food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling duties. Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes promptly. Participate in cleaning duties throughout the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash. Adhere to health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience is a plus. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is essential. Experience in culinary roles or hospitality settings will be beneficial for candidates looking to advance their careers in the food industry.
