Responsibilities
Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to promote efficiency.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
Experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial for understanding kitchen operations.
Background in hospitality or hotel services can enhance teamwork skills within the kitchen environment.
