Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are organized properly. Assist in food preparation by cleaning and prepping ingredients as needed. Help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash as required. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant or hotel setting is a plus. Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is beneficial. A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to help out in various kitchen tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
