Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential in supporting our food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff. Ensure proper handling and storage of clean dishes and utensils. Dispose of waste appropriately and keep trash areas clean. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Willingness to help out in various roles within the kitchen as needed.
