Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a restaurant or hotel setting, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required by the kitchen staff. Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean working environment. Support the culinary team by assisting with basic food handling tasks as needed.

Skills

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is an asset. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Willingness to help others and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere. Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including familiarity with cooking equipment and utensils.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
