We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and ensuring a smooth operation.

Duties

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Operate dishwashing machines efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff. Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling efforts. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high hygiene standards. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking processes is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food service or hospitality environments is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
