We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Operate dishwashing equipment according to safety and operational guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Ensure proper handling of food items in compliance with health and safety regulations. Remove trash and recycling from work areas regularly to maintain a tidy environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds). Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week
