We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and food preparation areas.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
Ensure that all dishware is organized and stored properly after cleaning.
Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures for handling food items.
Skills
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
Familiarity with food service operations and food handling practices.
Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
