Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand. Maintain cleanliness of the didhwashing area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques, is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation guidelines effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving others in the hospitality industry. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting.
