Duties

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently. Ensure that all kitchen items are sanitized and stored properly after washing. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting cooks and chefs in the kitchen. Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following health and safety guidelines. Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing when needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required. A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
