Job Description
We are looking for dishwashers to join our culinary team in Goobies and keep our restaurant clean. The duties of a dishwasher include gathering used plates, bowls, and utensils, loading washing machines, and correctly stacking washed things. We\'d like to get to know you if you want to start a career in the restaurant business and participate in the behind-the-scenes activities. Please take note that this position occasionally needs evening or weekend labour. It also necessitates working in shifts. In the end, you\'ll contribute to giving our customers a memorable dining experience.\xe2\x80\xa2 Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Load buspans and trays
- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Package take-out food
- Portion and wrap foods
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
