We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or other hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met. Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by disposing of trash and recycling appropriately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and preparation practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and bending.
