Job summary

Cleans the kitchen, dishes, silverware and pots.

Main responsibilities

• Collection and provision of garbage cans.
• Cleaning, maintenance and storage of dishes according to a cleaning plan.
• Set up and service in the staff cafeteria.
• Washing, storage and storage of all crockery, silverware and glassware for all catering departments.
• Washing, storage and storage of all utensils and large equipment in the kitchen.
• Cleaning of the various premises of the catering services.
• Compliance with the hygiene rules in force.
• Respect of the security rules of the establishment.
• Ability to work in a team and be autonomous.
• Be available to all catering services to meet their expectations.
• Be able to handle chemicals and store them neatly in a safe place.
• Be able to report an accident immediately to a supervisor.
• Be able to keep dishes, pots and equipment necessary for daily use clean.
• Keep machines clean, neat and in good condition.
• Keep the premises clean and clean up immediately if there is a mess or spills.
• Apply and master the quality standards related to your function.
• Be able to clean the dust, scrub the floor, polish the equipment in the following places: the pastry shop, the fridges, the kitchens, the Room Service.
• The list of tasks specified above is not exhaustive, your function will require constant adaptation to situations of high activity and specific management of customer relations.

Desired qualifications and skills

• Be able to communicate in French or English;
• Be comfortable moving around a lot and spending long hours on your feet;
• Be available to work days, evenings and weekends, as needed;
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques (washing machine, dishes, chemicals, etc.) an asset.
• Know the health and safety standards.
