We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall efficiency of our food service operations in a restaurant or hotel setting.

Duties

Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and storage. Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Support cooks and other kitchen staff by providing necessary assistance during busy service periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the hospitality industry. Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds). Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
