We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. A background in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed within the kitchen. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service in the hospitality industry.
