Perform manual work in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
Ability to work under the pressure of a busy kitchen, stay calm and work as part of our culinary team
Organizational flair of your work area
Work involves thorough cleaning of equipment and facilities to conform to proper sanitation standards, washes pot, pans, dishes and traps
Maintains neat and clean appearance of working areas throughout the kitchen
Other cleaning duties as assigned
Prep ingredients as directed by the Sous Chefs
Follow the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
Applicants must be in Moncton NB to be considered for employment.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Assist cooks and other kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
