Job Description

We are hiring for this position immediately. We are looking for someone to join our team at Oldman River Brewing assisting the cook with dish-washing and plating. We are a brewery and restaurant dedicated to bringing high quality product to our customers. We are well known for our comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

What You'll Do:

You will report to the Kitchen Manager.

Load and unload dishes, cookware and utensils into and out of the dishwasher. Wash dishes and utensils by hand when necessary. Ensure dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations. Clean and sanitize various pieces of kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean and efficient work space. Sweep and mop floors as needed. Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles. Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing vegetables or prepping ingredients. Assist in unpacking and storing deliveries. May be required to assist with bussing tables or setting up the dining area. Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards to front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests). Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others.
