Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient environment while supporting food preparation and service operations. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment. Support chefs and cooks during meal service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of food items. Participate in cleaning duties after service, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas. Assist in serving food to guests when required, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Skills

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food handling safety regulations is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous but not required. A positive attitude towards serving others and providing exceptional customer service.
