As a Dishwasher at Fairmont Hotels, you play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our culinary department. You are responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary environment by washing dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

Job Duties Include:

Operate dishwashing machines to clean plates, glassware, and utensils. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand where required. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and work surfaces Sort and stack clean dishes and return them to proper areas. Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas and dispose of it properly Ensure all kitchen equipment and storage areas are clean and orderly Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages Assist cooks/chefs staff as needed with basic food prep or transport of supplies.


Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Physically able to carry out the demands of the position including pushing, pulling, bending, heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
