Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized environment while supporting our cooks and chefs in food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Duties

Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help cooks with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared according to safety and quality standards. Stock kitchen supplies and assist with inventory management to ensure that all necessary items are available. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service practices and food handling guidelines is a plus. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced cooks and chefs will contribute to your success in this role.
