Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations. Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting team members when necessary.

Skills

Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
