Responsibilities

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing and chopping vegetables. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods. Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes, is advantageous. Knowledge of food service standards and safe food handling practices is a plus. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
