Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team here at Saxe Point Public House. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant/hotel kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or automated methods
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Sort, stack, and store clean dishes in appropriate areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Skills:
