Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Knowledge of food service protocols and safe food handling practices. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial for understanding the pace of service. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude in high-pressure situations. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.16-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
