Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients. Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly. Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant by disposing of trash and recycling appropriately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A background in hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
