Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Unfortunately, we do not provide staff accommodation, and candidates must be present in the Canmore area.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans following health and safety standards. Operate dishwashing machines efficiently to ensure timely cleaning of kitchenware. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Help organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Support cooks and other kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and equipment during food service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 25 pounds). A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service within the hospitality industry.
