We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
