We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients.
Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use.
Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
