We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free of clutter. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients. Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure safety and quality. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing time effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and management.
